We called it ‘Tea at 5’
A concept started by Neha Singh with (@stylewali) with her unique and soothing aesthetics of Tea set ups, we thought of styling this shoot with her. To ice this cake three brilliant mellianial came together for a fun fruitful conversation about Art, fashion, Life and everything that surrounds them.
Based out of Delhi and redefining the Modern saree glam all three of them had there individual take on the saree and how amazing they were looking different from each other. Let us introduce you to them along with their thoughts of wearing a saree to a tea party.
Gurmehar Kaur
Bubbly and cheerful, Gurmehar (@gurmeharrr)has her own style that reflects her mind and thoughts. Wearing the guldasta saree in powder blue colour paired with a sleek moss silk blouse to blend in with the silk organza. This saree reflect her understated yet vibrant personality through the big motifs spread all over. She has always been a Peeli Dori Muse.
Her conversations over how Fashion and how ethical practices creates a difference, added a lot to the discussion while the other two also added their thoughts.
Niharika is the founder and Design head at Peeli Dori. She is a saree enthusiast in her personal life and a see collector of various heritage crafts and weavings. Her style as a young entrepreneur is very fresh, minimal and classy. She bought the art side of Fashion in the discussion and how sarees are a form of art. She wore the silk Zeenat organza saree with dabka embroidery all over, on an old rose colour. This saree takes about 350 man hours in embroidery and the beauty of it reflects the same. Paired with a corset style raw silk blouse, this is modern day Bollywood glamour
Neha Singh (@nehasingh2.7) has a unique style of dressing and caring herself as she quotes. “ Fashion is how you portray yourself”. A resident of Delhi NCR, she has made her niche in terms of her looks amongst the set trends and statements. Co- founder of the brand Co-ord in Khan Market, and kala Ghoda Mumbai. Her insights on trends and modern day relevance of Sarees was a really interesting part of ‘ Tea at 5’. Wearing the bestseller Silk Sahina saree paired with the Sahina blouse, she looks like millennial dream. Her retro vibe adds to the looks and makes it look even ore glam
