Saheli Collection — Festive Wear for Every Celebration by Peeli Dori

Saheli means "close friend" — and this collection is built with that warmth in mind, as festive and wedding wear that feels like it was chosen for you by someone who knows you well. It's the widest-ranging of Peeli Dori's collections, spanning silk organza sarees, georgette lehenga sets, cotton chanderi anarkalis, kurta sets, and individually sold blouses, which means there's an entry point here whether you're dressing for a full wedding function or picking up one statement piece to complete an existing outfit.

The colour story leans warm and jewel-toned — peacock pink, berry red, dark red, gold, tangerine orange, and iris purple recur throughout, with cooler accents in olive green and ink blue for those who want something a little different from the traditional festive palette. Embroidery ranges from delicate all-over threadwork on the sarees to fuller embellishment on the lehenga sets, so the collection covers both understated and statement-making choices. Prices range from roughly ₹8,900 for a single blouse or simple saree up to ₹35,400 for the most heavily worked lehenga sets, making Saheli one of the more accessible collections to shop into at multiple price points.

How to Style Pieces from the Saheli Collection

Because Saheli spans so many silhouettes, styling depends on what you're building around. The georgette lehenga sets are festive-ready as-is — pair with statement jhumkas and minimal other jewellery so the embroidery on the skirt stays the focal point. For the sarees, a contrast blouse in a solid jewel tone (try our designer blouses) lifts the look for evening events, while a tonal blouse keeps things elegant for daytime functions. The kurta sets in the range are the most versatile piece — dress them up with a dupatta and jhumkas for a family function, or wear them simply with minimal jewellery for a smaller, more casual celebration.

When to Wear a Saheli Collection Outfit

Because Saheli spans sarees, lehenga sets, anarkalis, and kurta sets, it works across almost every wedding-season function. The lehenga sets and richly embroidered sarees are built for sangeet nights and reception functions, where you want a fuller silhouette and more embellishment to stand out under evening lighting. The lighter sarees and kurta sets suit daytime functions like haldi and mehendi, especially in the warmer yellow, orange, and pastel pink shades. Because the collection covers such a wide price range, it's also a practical starting point for building a full wedding-season wardrobe without shopping across multiple collections.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Saheli Collection

What kinds of outfits are included in the Saheli Collection?: Saheli includes silk organza sarees, georgette lehenga sets, cotton chanderi anarkali sets, kurta sets, and standalone designer blouses — it's the most varied collection at Peeli Dori in terms of silhouette.
What is the price range for the Saheli Collection?: Prices range from around ₹8,900 to ₹35,400, covering everything from a single embroidered blouse to a fully embellished lehenga set. Current pricing is shown in the Popular Products panel alongside this text.
Is the Saheli Collection suitable for wedding guests?: Yes, the richer jewel-toned pieces — berry red, dark red, gold, and peacock pink — are designed with wedding functions and sangeet nights in mind, while the softer tones work well for daytime events like mehendi and haldi.
Do the lehenga sets come with a matching dupatta?: Yes, lehenga sets in the Saheli Collection are sold with a coordinating dupatta and blouse piece as a complete set unless noted otherwise on the individual product page.
How should I care for georgette and silk organza pieces?: We recommend dry cleaning for all embroidered pieces in the Saheli Collection to protect embellishment and colour. Store lehenga sets folded loosely with tissue paper between layers to prevent creasing of the embroidery.
Does Peeli Dori ship Saheli Collection pieces across India?: Yes, every order ships across India with careful packaging, and international shipping is available on request.
Is the Saheli Collection good for building a full wedding wardrobe?: Yes, because it spans sarees, lehenga sets, anarkalis, kurta sets, and blouses at a wide range of price points, Saheli is one of the easiest collections to shop for multiple wedding functions in one place.
Do the kurta sets come with a dupatta?: Most kurta sets in the Saheli Collection include a coordinating dupatta; check the individual product page for the exact set contents before purchase.
What sizes are available in the Saheli Collection?: Sizing varies by piece and is listed on each product page. For sarees, one size fits most body types given the adjustable nature of the drape; for stitched pieces like anarkalis and kurta sets, refer to our size chart for the best fit.
Can I mix and match pieces from the Saheli Collection with other Peeli Dori collections?: Yes, many customers pair a Saheli blouse or dupatta with a saree from another collection, or vice versa, since the colour palette — particularly the reds, golds, and pinks — coordinates well across most of our festive ranges. This is especially useful if you already own a saree in a similar tone and just need a fresh blouse or accessory piece to complete a new look for an upcoming function.
